$650 date-hold
Reserves the sale dates. Fully credited against commission at settlement. If the sale happens, the family never paid extra for the hold.
Fees
Families already have enough to carry. Here is the same fee story we put in writing. We do not quote a commission percent until we have walked the home, because homes differ.
Reserves the sale dates. Fully credited against commission at settlement. If the sale happens, the family never paid extra for the hold.
Set after the complimentary walk-through (no charge). It covers marketing, photography, online listings, signs, email to the buyer list, staging, pricing, sale-day staffing, and the settlement report.
If a car, truck, or other titled vehicle is part of the sale, its commission is written into the same agreement. The estate stays the seller of record and signs the title, and the buyer’s payment clears before title and keys are released.
No booking fee. No hidden costs or fees. No setup fee.
We pay out within 7 days, starting the next business day after the sale, sometimes as quick as 72 hours, with a settlement report.
Cards add about 3% POS surcharge (or the actual processor rate once set). Easy ACH adds a 1% QuickBooks processing fee. Cash has no surcharge. We accept major credit cards, cash, or Easy ACH only (no personal or business checks). Shopper fees are not taken from commission or from the family’s proceeds.
| When you cancel | What happens |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the first sale date, and staging has not started | We refund the $650. |
| Within 14 days of the first sale date, or after staging has started | We keep the $650. We bill $75/hour for hours worked, 4-hour minimum. The $650 is credited against that bill (you pay extra only for hours beyond what $650 covers), plus documented third-party costs with receipts. |
$75/hour, 4-hour minimum, separate agreement. See hourly sorting.
